"Once I was roaming around the streets looking for work and I got a job at a shop. I eventually started working at that shop but I was not satisfied because my self-esteem didn’t let me work there since the employer was rude and always used to yell out "Oye Ye Kar, Oye Wo Lay Kar Aa", (Do this and That) as if I had no self-respect. I had a few thousand Rupees saved for some difficult times which my family didn't know about. I knew a little work of a cobbler so I bought a shoe brush, shoe polish and few other items and went to the Lahore railway station. There, I tried to test my luck. I was happy that I had to wait for the customers instead of begging for work or have anyone tell me what to do. Starting from 2,000 Rupees a month in a period of 6 months, I eventually started earning 6,000 Rupees monthly. Later, I found some space outside 'Mochi Gate Police Station' from where the commercial hub of Lahore starts; and within a period of 3 months my monthly income raised to 10,000 Rupees a month which was sufficient as compared to earlier earnings.""Now, I come to my work place at 8 am and leave at 5pm. I’m the owner, I’m the service provider and I do not hesitate in doing hard work. Life is not miserable to those who don't escape hard work."
