"My father wanted to travel the world on a bike. He wanted to experience every emotion and tantalize every sense he was capable of. I was 10 months old when I lost him and at a very tender age I understood that "some things just don't last forever". My mother accepted it quickly and we all knew this was all we had; 'each other'. With my brother still in her womb and with me cradled in her arms, she fought and raised us. I guess it's the whole emotional roller coaster that ignited the inner biker girl. I was 12 when I first rode one.
On 14th of August 2015 when Pakistan was celebrating its birthday, I had other plans to devote the next 20 days to explore the sublime topography of Pakistan and fulfill my father's fatal legacy. I had one vision in mind: To decipher what life will put forth on the road. I fueled my biker spirit and embarked on a journey that was to leave me with wisdom and knowledge. My journey started from the heart of Punjab: Lahore, Pakistan and stretched till Khunjerab Pass - the cement wall connecting Pakistan with China. Our motorcycles took us to the mighty plains of Deosai, Astore and lounged till Skardu. To experience and inject my wanderlust spirit with cultural and historic dosage, I plummeted to Hunza and spent two days in Karimabad; drifting my imagination in the melodious stories of the locals. When all was ticked off, I rode to a small valley known as 'Misgar' around 30kms detour from Sost. I was left dazed by it's undefined scenic beauty and how the sunlight illuminated the hay fields and fresh cultivated landscape of Misgar."
